Dining Pubs

Out Inn Cheshire would like to tempt your jaded palates with a helpful service.

Many of you like to visit pubs for a meal, and will be fully aware there is all the difference in the world between
- a chain pub selling heated up processed meals from a standard menu, and
- a high quality experience where a real chef creates meals from fresh ingredients.

We want to tell you where quality eating experiences are to be found. We will use the pages of the Out Inn Cheshire magazine and this Web-site to highlight them for you.

To start with, we will simply list these venues as we learn of them and set up links to their Web-sites.
Then as we get to them, we will provide more detail, including reviews of our own "mystery shopper" visits.

To do this, we are going to need your help;

  • We would like you to tell us which pubs cook fresh food.

  • We invite licensees, chefs, locals and other happy diners to tell us where we can find the best in pub dining.
    (We can only visit so many and we need you to help us keep up to date)

  • We will then share this with our readers.

  • We will visit the pubs in question when we can and write reviews.

  • We welcome snippets, opinions and articles from anyone (independent of the pub) who wishes to try their hand at a little journalism.

Bon appetit!

Many of these have their own Web-site, where you can read about the pub,
see some sample menus and even reserve a table.
Some of them have a link to our own steadly-growing pages of pub food reviews

An interactive map of locations can be seen at Whatpub.com and makes a very good starting point to see which pubs serve lunchtime or evening meals.
